Having started in the Yurt Hire business, Domeworks made the move to dome building to fill a gap in the UK market for a company dedicated to building high quality wooden and steel domes. All of the designs offered by Domeworks are tested by their sister company, The Dome Garden, where they are used as accommodation within the eco-friendly dome park.
There are a range of diffenrent sizes available: the Baby Dome (12 ft), The Garden Dome (16 ft), The Sleepy Dome (20 ft), and the Super Dome (24 ft). Domeworks utilise the hub and spar system when constructing their domes. Smaller domes use coppiced ash for the spars and larger domes use galvanised steel. The hubs are also created from galvanised steel in either a chrome plated or powdered finish, with a more visually intricate skeleton hub also on offer. The covers are made from welded PVC to ensure that they are all completely waterproof and easy to maintain. Two different types of lining are also offered as optional extras that will enable your dome to be used all year round without having to worry about that winter chill.
