In 2013, Modulog were granted permission to have log cabins and glamping pods on their woodland site in Mid-Wales. Using their 40 years of experience in the building and joinery trade, they set out to create a unique modular form of glamping accommodation.
Each pod created by Modulog is designed by the customer. This is achieved by, first, choosing the size of the pod that is needed, then, by choosing the specific modules that will make up the pod. A standard pod is made up of three front modules, a door and two windows for example, an optional porch module, and two side panels. Pictured above is the Modulog Multi Pod which is made up of modules attached face to face creating a half round pod, allowing the pod to be longer and wider. The design is left up to the customer, and due to the modular design, it is easier than ever.
Once the exterior has been designed, there are a number of optional extras for the interior. The drop down table and box seats with foam covers create an ideal dining space, with the optional kitchen unit with sink and hob providing a place to prepare the food. The wood burning stove and accessories makes sure that your Modulog will be warm all year round. Optional electricals come in the form of 240v electrical and TV points, a TV with DVD player, and the option to install a 12v solar system taking your Modulog off grid.
