A large, enclosed garden is the most desirable feature for families looking to book self-catering holidays, a 30 year historic overview from Brecon Beacons Holiday Cottages has revealed. ‘Large gardens’ and ‘enclosed gardens’ were the two most popular requests, followed by a close proximity to activities and cafes/pubs.
The information is based on a four-year analysis of booking requests by Brecon Beacons Holiday Cottages, the Brecon-based holiday cottage agency with over 30 years experience and around 400 properties located throughout the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Other entries in the list of top ten self-catering requests included access to a games room, whether the property accepted pets and if cots/high chairs were provided. The full list is as follows:
