Glamping Business Workshops
Last year, our columnist business advisor, Kate Morel, pioneered a ‘world first’ by running hands-on workshops, designed to help those interested in starting up a glamping business. She will once again be running mini workshops at this year’s Glamping Show, but if you want to attend a full day workshop, the next Glamping Business Workshop is being held on Saturday July 21st, at Jubilee Barns Glamping in Northamptonshire.
The day will be packed with information and set-up advice, specifically tailored to independent operators looking to start a small to medium sized glamping business. Kate and owner of Jubilee Barns Glamping Jenna, will both share their experience and industry knowledge to help you get your business off to the best possible start – or at least decide if running a glamping business is for you! Points covered include Planning Permissions, Potential Revenues and ROI’s, Structure Choices & Facilities, Developing a ‘unique selling point’ to set you apart from the competition, Site Operations & Marketing.
It’s a full day, with the option to stay on into the evening for supper and informal discussion.
If you want in-depth advice on any start-up subjects, such as the viability of your site, planning permission options, or advice on structures, a site appraisal will really help. If you’re not quite ready for a visit, but still want to talk about your plans, drop Kate a line with a few details and arrange to have a chat over the phone.
“advice over the phone (or Skype if I’ve got my make-up on!) is free of charge and very often helps landowners head in the right direction, it also sometimes saves them money, or making costly mistakes. I’m always happy to have a quick chat with any Glamping Business Magazine reader who needs a little friendly support.”
