The Glamping Show UK exhibitors Love Campers appeared on the latest series of the TV show, Million Pound Motorhomes, on Channel 5, on Sunday 4 September.
The 4th September episode will introduce viewers to an electric, off-grid campervan built for customer Lewis Nyman. Lewis, a UX designer and digital nomad, has founded the UK’s first electric-only campervan rental company with help from Love Campers. Follow along for the ride as Lewis sees his finished campervan for the first time, and sets up his new business ‘Wild Drives’.
Love Campers, based in Newhaven, East Sussex, are second to none when it comes to hand-built, luxury, sustainable campervan conversions. The team is comprised of skilled local craftspeople who work to combine cutting edge off-grid technology with classic design and timeless cabinetry.
Leaders in the field of electric campervans, Love Campers push the boundaries of what is possible with off-grid, solar powered campervan systems. Lewis’ campervan is not only built using an electric vehicle, it also has a cooking hob that is powered only by the sun!

Lewis said, “I wanted a converter with experience converting electric campervans. The second reason was that I wanted an interior that looked fantastic! I had just invested in a brand new electric van and I wanted an interior that matched that level of quality,”.
Million Pound Motorhomes is on Channel 5 at 8pm on Sunday nights. The next episode covering Love Campers’ vans and their happy customers will be shown on Sunday 11th September 2022 at 8pm.
