How it all started.
The beginnings of tiny accommodation units go back a long way. Throughout different periods of time and social environments, people have always sought the most practical forms of living, and size has been an important part of that. Only in recent decades have people become fascinated by the idea of living in a minimal but exceptionally well-organized living space. Going back in history, we find that the first users of tiny homes were the Mongolians, the Sioux, the Inuit and the Samoans, who lived in simple tents, yurts and modest wooden shacks.

Many years have passed since then, but the fascination remains. The first tiny house enthusiasts put forth the advantages of this type of living in the early 1980s. The idea spread around the world quickly, and minimalist lifestyle became a trend of modern living and an alternative to wasteful and oversized buildings. They also started to be used for tourist purposes.
Fast forward to today.
The combination of smart and space-efficient design with sustainability is the guiding principle of today’s “tiny” community. This approach is very welcome in the demanding tourism industry, as it offers practicality and comfort that is also more economically accessible, more connected to nature and offers a more authentic experience. Therefore, in terms of uniqueness and ecology, less is more. The environmental footprint has been proven to be lower, smaller units use less energy and, last but not least, significantly less material is used for their construction. Designing tiny accommodation units is not easy, as it is necessary to find the right balance between exterior and interior architecture with a single goal in mind – comfort of living.

The Adria Home philosophy.
Adria is entering the “tiny” community with a brand new product. The Tiny Homes series represents a new approach to living accommodation. The exterior has been developed and designed in a modern way and with a thoughtful selection of sustainable materials. The interior is designed with smart and flexible furnishing solutions with the aim of creating a compact and efficient living space. The biggest challenge of living in a “micro space” is to create the feeling that we have everything we need. We have created architectural excellence not only with minimalist design, natural materials, and multifunctional interiors, but also with a philosophy of responsibility towards the environment and society. High manufacturing standards for excellent living comfort.
Tiny Home is a logical look into the future and represents an innovative departure from the standard mobile home. Tourism industry is undergoing a transformation, which is most noticeable in the northern part of Europe. Modern society is changing and so are people’s needs and habits.
Tiny exterior.
‘’Passion for architecture.’’
The modern architectural elements of the “Tiny” mobile home, form an elegant and compact accommodation unit. The approach is based on three main ideas: modern and sustainable materials, recognizable design, and creative use of space. The primary material for the exterior is wood, which works perfectly in any environment. Additional cladding is possible, depending on each individual project. A combination of minimalist architecture, details and compactness is noticeable throughout all three different models. The Tiny series is designed to reduce environmental impact – from construction to energy consumption – throughout its lifetime.

Tiny interior.
‘’Where you belong.’’
The interior is flooded with natural light, which nicely complements the atmosphere of the rooms. Both levels form a connected but functionally separate whole. The living area, as the meeting point of the rooms and the core of the house, connects its guests over dining and socializing. The bedrooms are sufficiently separated from the main area and the bathrooms are fully equipped. Basic elements such as stairs and ladders are designed and positioned innovatively. The flexible rooms invite socializing and interaction. The space is airy and bright with clean lines.
