Campsited, the digital marketplace for the open-air economy, today launched two significant partnerships to enhance their customer’s experience.
California-based climate risk technology company Sensible Weather Inc. will offer its weather-based insurance cover to Campsited’s travellers. When the company’s advanced weather forecasting model identifies rain in the customer’s location, it automatically issues a refund based on the daily rate for the booking, without the need for the customer to apply.
As part of Campsited’s recently launched ‘Open-air Work From Anywhere’ offering, Global travel technology provider Simtex, whose eSIM platform consolidates all in-country mobile data providers offerings, will enable Campsited’s travellers to purchase mobile data in their chosen country without the need for a physical SIM card.
These new partnerships are the latest innovations that Campsited are bringing to the open air market, enabling their customers to live, work and play in a number of stunning natural locations across Europe.
Finan O’Donoghue, Founder and CEO of Campsited, said, “Partnering with these great companies brings Campsited to a new level in the open-air market. People want to stay connected whilst abroad, and make the most of their time, and these value-adding services enable them to do just that.
“We are delighted to be working with such innovative partners as Sensible Weather and SimTex, and we look forward to continuing to enhance our customers’ open-air experiences in the months and years ahead.”
