In collaboration with the renowned Bjarke Ingels Group, hospitality innovator Nokken has unveiled the NKN-Softshell – a sophisticated two-story tent that elevates glamping to a new level of comfort and eco-conscious design.

At first glance, the tent’s striking visuals might appear to be the work of advanced AI design tools, but this innovative structure is entirely real.
Engineered with eco-resorts, luxury camping destinations, and boutique hospitality spaces in mind, the NKN-Softshell reimagines outdoor living with a harmonious blend of practicality and aesthetic refinement.

The tent spans 195 square feet and is built on a robust wooden frame and base plate, with a sleek A-frame design that evokes the charm of traditional cabins. Its soft canvas fabric serves both functional and stylistic purposes, offering durability and elegance.
Starting at $22,500 USD, the design is highly customizable, with optional add-ons like a cargo net, ladder, and bespoke bedhead to enhance convenience and style.

Despite its premium price, the NKN-Softshell is one of the most accessible creations from the Bjarke Ingels Group, a firm known for ambitious projects like the upcoming Freedom Plaza in New York City and a waterfront headquarters in Copenhagen.
Set to launch in the summer of 2025, the NKN-Softshell is already available for pre-order on Nokken’s official website, marking a significant milestone in sustainable luxury hospitality design.
