The UK’s new glamping trade body, the Glamping Industries Trade Association (GITA), has today launched a partnership with the AA to promote Visitor Ready, the free accreditation scheme for tourism businesses.

If documentation is to hand, most businesses can complete the online process in under 20 minutes.

The scheme verifies key mandatory legal requirements that include public liability, fire risk, gas mark and food hygiene, other key requirements, and a consumer charter to provide reassurance to customers that you are ready to receive guests.

Once approved you can display the Visitor Ready badge across digital platforms and can keep all your compliance documents in one Visitor Ready digital wallet.

“We are delighted to be partnering with GITA and welcome their support of the scheme. They join an extensive group of trade and tourism organisations that have endorsed Visitor Ready” Simon Numphud FIH, Managing Director, AA Media.

“This is an exciting step for GITA,” commented Executive Manager, John White. “We are less than six months old, have over 60 members and growing, and have launched a range of highly regarded services to members that are saving them money. Now we are able to partner with leading accreditation scheme providers the AA to promote their latest free scheme, Visitor Ready, to our members in advance of the coming season.”

The partnership with the AA was launched at a special member meeting on 6th March. Members can sign up to Visitor Ready via the GITA website at gitauk.org.
