Tell us a bit about your company – how did it begin?
We have been building rustic cabins and such for several years. Using our mobile sawmill we build from locally sourced timber and offer bespoke solutions, so no two builds are the same.
What product(s) do you offer for the glamping industry?
We now supply Weltevree® products to accompany our cabin builds, these are outdoor lifestyle products that really accompany our rustic style and go well in any outdoor setting.
Quality products from the Netherlands, Weltevree® have a range of outdoor cookers that we stock in the UK.
What type of fuel is needed?
Good firewood.
Probably the most important question: with energy bills rising, what are the approximate running costs for site owners?
It really is just down to getting a hold of decent firewood – the outdoor ovens don’t use a lot and the XL oven generates its own charcoal!
Can the heat and/or flame height be adjusted?
The standard outdoor oven isn’t adjustable, but the XL oven is a jack of all trades; you can really hone your cooking skills, making pizza as well as grilling and barbecuing at the same time!
Are they suitable for off-grid sites?
The outdoor ovens are totally off-grid.
What safety features do you offer/ recommend?
Weltevree® do a nice set of oven gloves!
What are the safety clearances for your product, if applicable?
These are to be used outdoors but still need to be away from combustible materials.
What factors are there to consider when determining placement? e.g. Can they be placed on decking, grass, or concrete, or under a pergola?
We can supply a metal sheet for the ovens to sit on in case of damage to grass or decking.
Do you offer weatherproofing – will they need to be covered when not in use?
The cool thing with these ovens is they are made from 3mm thick COR-TEN steel of the highest quality and will last at least 10 years. Designed to go rusty, they just live outside with no need to cover up! An eye-catcher in any garden.
How easy is the installation; can owners do it themselves or do you offer a service?
Very easy to install, anyone can do it! The XL oven is quite heavy, but other than that it’s very easy to set up.
Do you offer any warranties?
Weltevree® products all carry a 12 month warranty.
