The MorphPod
Designed by architects using tried and tested materials, the MorphPod was created with adaptability in mind. The idea was to create a fully insulated and liveable box and allow the customer to add a variety of optional extras to make it their own.
Available in two sizes, the “MorphPod 2.2” measures 2.2 metres wide, x 3.3m long internal and the “MorphPod 3.4” measures 3.4 metres wide, x 3.3m long internal. The 2.2 model costs £5695 excluding VAT, and the 3.4 model costs £8245 excluding VAT.
Exterior Customisation
Once you have decided on the size of the frame, you can start picking from the extras available. This is where the pod will start to feel unique and can be tailored depending on its future usage. There are various door options, and you can also choose the position of the door which can be located at either end of the pod. The roof is made from a corrugated galvanised metal, with the option to pick from a number of different colour finishes. The window at the front can remain a window or you can choose to have double doors there instead. The cladding type and coating can be changed as well, and the width of the veranda is up to you.
Interior Customisation
The interior of the pod is just as customisable. The interior wall finish, as well as the floor finish can be tailored to your liking. Heating and electric packs can be decided upon depending on how you will be using the pod and where it will be located with an option to add a side window or roof light. The number and types of beds can be changed, with a choice of a range of furniture that can be included. The 3.4 model also has the possibility to include a wc and shower room.
