Quality Pods, based in Wales, have made a couple of changes to the ‘classic pod formula’ to create something unique and beautiful.
Pod Sizes
The Quality Pod is available in three sizes: the medium pod measuring 4m x 3m and costing £8,900 + vat, the large pod measuring 5m x 3m starting at £12,100 + vat, and the extra-large pod which measures 6m x 3m and costs £14,900 + vat.
The Pod
The pod itself is made up of rows of timber arches creating a rib cage effect with interlocking floor panels which is fixed to the unique steel frame. The ribbed sections allows the services to be completely concealed when installed, with solid core insulation up to 120mm thick making the pod perfect for all year round use. The rib cage effect also means that the pod is incredibly durable, allowing it to be pre-fabricated to any specification with only its delivery and final service hook-up to worry about.
Interior Options
The large pod (5m x 3m) comes with the unique circular front French doors and an 800mm circular fixed rear window both with laminated safety glass that can be upgraded to double glazing. There are a range of options to choose from when it comes to flooring, and the pod can be decorated to your specification. The front of the pod comes with a porch area with 2 outside LED down lights and on the inside there are 4 internal LED down lights and three double sockets in your choice of location. The wet room, which includes a toilet with concealed cistern, a basin, electric shower and a choice of coloured altro flooring including all services, can be installed for an extra £1,680. The Kitchen, which is an extra £880 includes units 2 x 600 base plus worktop, sink and single gas hob unit. On top of all this, a lift up storage bed and a fold out double bed are also included.
