Cameron Ranch Glamping, a Texas-based operator with locations in Coldspring and Bastrop, is set to expand its accommodation mix with the launch of its first Möön House by ÖÖD in July 2026.
The new unit, designed by Estonian architecture firm ÖÖD, marks a move toward more design-forward lodging and reflects a broader strategy to diversify inventory while appealing to guests seeking immersive, nature-based stays with a premium edge.
Over the past four years, the company reports hosting more than 5,000 guests and generating over 500 reviews with an average rating of 4.94 stars. It has also gained recognition from regional and national publications, boosting its profile within Texas’ increasingly competitive glamping market.
Its location within reach of Houston positions the property as a convenient short-stay destination, particularly for weekend breaks and wellness-focused travel.

The Möön House will join an existing range of accommodations including mirror houses, geodomes, A-frame cabins, ranch houses, and traditional cabins.
According to a press release, the new unit will prioritise architectural design, privacy, and integration with the surrounding landscape—key factors driving demand for high-end outdoor stays.
Cameron Ranch has also built its brand around wellness and mental health, offering programming such as guided nature walks, stargazing, and mindfulness workshops.
The addition of the Möön House is intended to strengthen this positioning, providing a low-density, design-led environment suited to relaxation and reflection.
“We believe that everyone deserves a chance to experience the healing power of nature,” said CEO Garrett Brown. “With the launch of the Möön House by ÖÖD, we are excited to offer our guests a new way to immerse themselves in the beauty of the Texas landscape while prioritizing their mental health.”
For operators and developers, the expansion underscores several key trends: the integration of globally recognised design brands, the growing importance of wellness-led experiences, and the need for varied accommodation types to capture different segments.
As more properties explore design partnerships, the July 2026 launch will offer a useful benchmark for how premium, architecture-led units perform in terms of pricing, occupancy, and guest appeal.
