International Glamping Business and The Glamping Show are proud to announce a new partnership with Sonia Aucott of the Rural Diversification Collective to launch a dedicated Rural Diversification Day at this year’s show.
Taking place on Thursday 10 September, the new conference stream will focus on helping farms, vineyards, landed estates and equestrian venues explore new and recurring revenue opportunities through hospitality, glamping and wider diversification projects.
Sonia Aucott, founder of Aucott Interior Design and co-founder of the Rural Diversification Collective, has become well known for helping rural landowners create commercially viable hospitality experiences that balance financial sustainability with thoughtful design and guest appeal.
The Rural Diversification Day will bring together a range of operators, advisors and finance specialists to discuss the practical realities of diversification, investment, planning, design and operational delivery.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Dawn Woollam of Dudley Peverill Associates
- Mike Clarke of Arkle Leisure Finance
- Richard Sigsworth of Omar Group
- Neil Baxendale, of GTF Event Equipment Finance
The programme will also feature real-world operator case studies from:
- Bill and Cheryl Sperry of Dragon’s Gate in Herefordshire
- Representatives from the Ohana Group, operators of the forward-thinking Ohana Mura development in Cornwall
Steph Curtis-Raleigh, Publisher of International Glamping Business magazine and Conference Director of The Glamping Show, said:
“Working with Sonia is an absolute pleasure. We are very aligned on the importance of land diversification, which certainly includes glamping, but these days incorporates so much more in terms of exciting opportunities for rural businesses and landowners.
“We hope visitors to The Glamping Show will really enjoy this new strand of content within the seminar programme and leave inspired by the wide range of innovative projects now emerging across the sector.”
Sonia Aucott commented:
“This is a fantastic opportunity for the Rural Diversification Collective, which is still newly launched, and we are hugely excited to meet visitors to The Glamping Show this September.
“There is enormous interest right now from farms, estates and rural businesses looking to create more resilient and diversified income streams, and we hope these sessions will provide practical inspiration, expert guidance and real-world examples of what is possible.”
The Glamping Show takes place from 10-12 September at NAEC Stoneleigh Park and brings together operators, suppliers, manufacturers and hospitality professionals from across the glamping and outdoor hospitality sectors. For more information visit theglampingshow.com.
